This old piece came from the historic Copper Queen mining district in Bisbee, Arizona. The complexity of the piece is fascinating in that the matrix, predominantly Azurite with a very lustrous coat of drusy Azurite, is coated with Limonite that is sprinkled with tiny Cuprites that have been replaced by Malachite. It is awesome when viewed through a glass or microscope.
