Quartz and Sphalerite from Borieva mine, Madan ore field, Rhodope Mts., Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria. Clusters of quartz crystals surround wondrous sphalerite crystals. Contrast between water clear quartz and exquisite sphalerite crystals is second to none. Although a fairly common combination, this specimen is quite special.
