Beautiful, lustrous Azurite specimen from La Sal, San Juan District, Utah. Azurites are traditionally quite difficult to photograph without bright lights and expensive equipment yet as noted this piece has a lot of charm even photographed at normal room light. Two rosettes sit atop a Malachite matrix which offers a great contrast and both are completely damage free. The color is very good (typical) for this location.
