Amethyst on Caliche base. May be one of a kind (you can crack a million Caliche nodules and never find anything but more Caliche inside...) Found in Sunset Acres, a subdivision of Bisbee, just north of the border to Mexico. The Amethyst Crystals (there are two sets) on top of a druzy Quartz measure up to 1.5 cm and are pristine. This is a gorgeous little piece and a real conversation piece.
