Quartz on Sphalerite from Madan, Bulgaria. Literally hundreds of tiny white quartz crystals adorn large sphalerite crystals creating a beautiful, and impressively nice contrast. Along with the lacy quartz crystals the piece has several iridescent chalcopyrite crystals along with tetrahedral sphalerite and scattered golden chalcopyrite crystals. Lastly, you will find a few tiny octahedral galena crystals mixed in. By any standard it is a most interesting piece.
